The Divine Presences as manifested in the hierarchy of Being; also the modes of Divine Presence as experienced in contemplation. In Sufism, it may also refer to the "sacred dance" (e.g. the dance of the whirling dervishes) that sometimes accompanies group invocation of various divine Names and sacred formulae. |
