one of the newer religions of Japan that came into existence on October 26, 1838. The Tenrikyo Church headquarters is located in the city of Tenri in central Japan. It holds that God the Parent, Tenri-o-no-Mikoto became revealed through a woman, Miki Nakayama, to save all humankind. |
